Contis : les bonnes adresses de Clarisse et Aymeric

Contis : les bonnes adresses de Clarisse et Aymeric

As part of our swimwear collection inspired by the most beautiful French beaches, from Keremma to Pampelonne, we imagined Contis, a print designed for dads and kids alike, evoking surf sessions and long afternoons playing in the sand.

Between pine forests, endless wild beaches, and sunsets over the ocean, Clarisse and Aymeric, founders of GILI'S, take us into their Contis: their long-loved addresses, summer rituals, and the must-visit spots of this authentic and unspoiled seaside town in the Landes.

The meeting point: La Cabane

A charming wooden hut right on Contis beach. The perfect spot to watch the waves with a morning coffee, or to enjoy an aperitif with family while taking in the sunset and live music.

Surf: Contis Surf School

In Contis, you walk barefoot with a surfboard under your arm. But since the waves aren’t always easy to read, Contis Surf School is the place to go.

Activity: The Lighthouse

The iconic black-and-white lighthouse of Contis offers stunning views over the pine forests, where miles of cycling paths lead all the way to the Basque Country.

A healthy break at any time: Café Peki

We love Café Peki for a healthy breakfast or lunch in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Avocado toast and lattes before heading out to swim in the surf.

A place for dinner: La Pibale

The iconic restaurant of Contis, where everyone gathers — serving simple, family-style cuisine.

The go-to evening spot: Chez Dan

Whatever the generation, Chez Dan is where people come together over a beer or long summer evenings that stretch on.

The local specialty: Pastis Landais Halfway between cake and brioche, flavored with vanilla, rum, and orange blossom, a true specialty of the Landes region.
